Implementation of projects using RFID technologies

Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) represents modern replacement of barcodes widely used in many areas of company activities. Utilisation of RFID technologies helps to simplify and streamline goods logistics. In the case of barcodes, every product of the same category has the same barcode, whilst with RFID every single piece is allocated its own Electronic Product Code (EPC). It is therefore possible to trace the movement of individual products, loss rates, expiry dates etc. Another benefit of the technology dwells in the fact that it is not necessary to place each product close to the optic sensor.
